Our target

We aim for Split the Bill to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, in both the light and dark themes.

What we have done

• Every control can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to calculator” link.
• Every input has a visible label, and errors are linked to the field they belong to.
• Results are announced to screen readers as they change.
• Text and controls are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast in both themes, and the theme can be switched at any time.
• Animations are turned off if your device asks for reduced motion.
