How to use this template

  1. Fill in your name, ID, job and the pay period starting at the top.
  2. Each day, write the time you start, the time you leave for an unpaid lunch, the time you come back and the time you finish.
  3. Total each day: (lunch out − time in) + (time out − lunch in). Put any other unpaid break in minutes and subtract it.
  4. Add the days. If you are non-exempt in the US, hours over 40 in a workweek are overtime under federal law; total each week separately and never average the two weeks.
  5. Sign and date it, and have your supervisor sign if required.

To print, press “Print or save as PDF”. Only the timesheet is printed, in black on white. To get a PDF, choose “Save as PDF” as the printer. Prefer automatic totals? Use the biweekly time card calculator. Step-by-step help: how to fill out a time card. Converting minutes? See the decimal hours chart.
