Who we are
This site is operated by [to be provided] (owner / legal entity), [to be provided] (country). Contact: [to be provided] (contact email).
Your time cards stay on your device
Everything you enter (times, breaks, notes, profile names, rates and settings) is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key “hourslog:v1”. It is not sent to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see it. You can delete it at any time with “Delete all my data” on the time card page or by clearing your browser’s site data.
Share links, exports and backups
A share link contains one week’s data inside the link itself (after the # sign, which browsers do not send to the server). Anyone you give the link to can see that data, including the name, rate and notes. CSV files, JSON backups and printouts are created on your device and go only where you save or send them.
What the server receives
Like any website, the hosting server receives standard technical request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) when you load a page. Server log handling by our hosting provider: [to be provided].
Cookies and similar storage
We use local storage for your entries, your theme choice and your cookie choice. These are needed for the site to work and are not used for tracking. There are currently no advertising or analytics cookies.
Advertising (future)
We plan to show ads. Ad vendors: [to be provided]. Advertising scripts will only load if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner, which will be replaced by a certified consent tool before ads go live. You can change your choice any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Analytics
None at present. Analytics vendor (if added): [to be provided]. This policy will be updated before any analytics are used.
Children
This site is intended for working-age users and is not directed at children.
Your rights
Because we do not collect your entries, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. For questions about server logs or this policy, contact [to be provided] (contact email). Applicable data-protection law: [to be provided].
Changes
We will update this page when anything changes and show the date at the top.
