About FocusLoop
FocusLoop is a free focus timer that you can leave open all day. It runs Pomodoro-style focus sessions and breaks, mixes ambient sounds such as rain, café and brown noise, keeps a simple task list and counts your sessions, all in your browser and without an account.
How it works
- There are no accounts. Your settings, tasks, stats and sound mix are saved only in your browser.
- The timer works from the time each session should end, not by counting ticks, so it stays accurate in background tabs. The engine is covered by automated tests, including an hour-long simulated run with throttled timers.
- Most sounds are generated by our code on your device; the two recordings are public-domain (CC0) and credited on the sound credits page.
